The Singapore Store Map
Don Don Donki operates more than a dozen outlets in Singapore as of late 2025. The chain's official store list is the authoritative source for opening hours and addresses; we focus here on the personality of each store — the items, sections, and habits that make each outlet worth a separate visit, even when you have a Donki five minutes from your office.
Orchard Central — The Flagship
The original Singapore store, opened December 2017 across floors B1, B2, and 1. The Orchard Central outlet is still the largest by floor area and the only Singapore Donki that operates 24 hours a day. It is also the most diverse: full fresh-fish counter, sushi takeaway, prepared bento boxes assembled hourly, dedicated wagyu chiller, fresh udon and soba aisles, dedicated Hokkaido section, full sake and shochu collection (the largest in Singapore retail outside of specialist liquor stores), beauty and skincare with brand breadth that matches Don Quijote Shibuya, and a household / Daiso-equivalent floor for the oddities.
What it does best: midnight grocery runs, hard-to-find Japanese alcohol, fresh sushi after 9pm (50% discount stickers begin around 9:30pm), and the unmatched selection of Hokkaido confectionery (Royce', Letao, ROYCE' Pure Chocolate, Six Tarte, and the limited-edition Don Don Donki Hokkaido collaboration items).
City Square Mall — The Family Stop
Opened 2018. Located in Kallang, this outlet skews more strongly toward family groceries and kids' snacks. Smaller fresh-food section than Orchard Central but a wider selection of Japanese instant noodles and individual snack packs that work for school lunchboxes.
What it does best: Japanese snack assortments for office gifts, party trays, and pantry stocking. The bento section is reliably fresh through the dinner rush.
100 AM Mall (Tanjong Pagar) — The Office Crowd Favourite
Compact format in the CBD. Strong lunch-grab bento and onigiri counter, and a much better-than-average sake-by-the-can section that turns it into a popular after-work pit stop. Weekend traffic is lower than the Orchard Central or Clarke Quay sites.
What it does best: 11:30am-1pm bento and onigiri, after-work beer and chuhai assortments, and salaryman-staple frozen meal pouches.
Clarke Quay Central — The Tourist-Friendly Big Box
The most foot-trafficked Donki outside of Orchard Central. Tourists visiting Clarke Quay make this the de-facto souvenir-buying location. Strong showing of Tokyo Banana, Royce', Yoku Moku, and Shiroi Koibito boxed gifts. The sushi takeaway counter sometimes runs out of premium SKUs by mid-afternoon during peak weekends.
What it does best: packaged Japanese gifts, well-stocked Japanese toiletries section, and a strong selection of Japanese seasonal limited-edition Kit Kat flavours (matcha, sakura, hojicha, sweet potato — the rotation varies monthly).
Square 2 (Novena) — The Doctors' Donki
Located in the medical-cluster mall opposite Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Convenient for medical staff and visitors. Slightly elevated focus on Japanese health-foods — adlay, genmai, low-GI noodles, fermented natto, sea-mustard salads.
What it does best: Japanese health-food and convalescent snacks; pre-made fruit cups; and a notably good selection of Japanese yogurts and probiotic drinks.
JEM (Jurong East) — The West-Side Flagship
The largest Donki in the West region, opened 2020. Comparable in size to Orchard Central but with a noticeably stronger frozen-food and Hokkaido-section emphasis. Popular weekend destination for West-side families.
What it does best: Hokkaido frozen seafood, premium ice cream selection (including the famous Maccha and Yuzu varieties), and a wider-than-typical selection of Japanese baking ingredients.
Tampines 1 — The Eastern Heartland Donki
Mid-sized format opened 2020. Strong assortment of Japanese pantry staples and a generously-sized snack aisle. Sushi counter is reliable in the evening but does not stretch to the full Orchard Central range.
What it does best: weekly grocery runs for East-side residents and the Tampines hub office crowd.
Waterway Point (Punggol) — The North-East Family Donki
Opened 2020. Compact format, family-focused, strong kids' snacks and Japanese stationery section (the Donki stationery aisle here is one of the best in Singapore for school supplies — Kokuyo Campus, Pilot Frixion, Zebra Sarasa, Maruman ruled paper).
What it does best: Japanese stationery, kids' snacks, and the household section (Japanese kitchen utensils, knives, lacquerware).
Northpoint City — The Yishun Mini-Mall Format
Opened 2021. Mid-sized format. Notable for its strong frozen-meal section and Japanese pre-cut sashimi-grade fish at slightly lower prices than the CBD outlets.
What it does best: frozen prepared meals (tempura sets, tonkatsu, donburi toppings), sashimi-grade fish, and the in-store hot-food counter at peak dinner hours.
Suntec City — The Convention-Goer's Donki
Opened in the early 2020s as part of Suntec City's mall refresh. Useful for visitors attending events at the Suntec Convention Centre. Strong on portable Japanese snacks and a sake collection that competes with Orchard Central in breadth.
Plaza Singapura — The Newer City-Centre Flagship
One of the largest Singapore Donki by floor area. Better wagyu chiller selection than most outlets, and a particularly strong dedicated wine/sake/whisky section. The Plaza Singapura store is also where Donki has historically tested seasonal pop-ups (Hokkaido fair, Kyushu fair, Okinawa fair).
Compass One (Sengkang) — The Newest Heartland Mega-Store
One of the most recent additions. Mega-store format in the North-East. Functions as a de facto Donki flagship for the Sengkang/Punggol/Hougang corridor. Strong fresh fish counter, well-stocked sake aisle, and a noticeable focus on family-pack snack assortments.
Tips for First-Time Visitors
- Time your visit. Weekday mornings are quietest. Saturday afternoons between 2pm and 6pm are peak chaos at Orchard Central and Clarke Quay.
- Bring your own bag. Singapore mandates a small plastic-bag charge. Donki cardboard boxes are usually available free of charge by the checkout — handy if you are buying alcohol.
- Discount sticker timing. Bento and sushi discount stickers typically appear from 8:30pm onwards. Premium SKUs like uni and otoro sushi are usually sticker-cut first at the larger outlets.
- The Donki Members app. Free; gives access to occasional in-app coupons and members-only discount days. Worth the 60 seconds to sign up if you visit Donki more than once a month.
